Maybe love is a disease

Requiem (Delirium, #3) by Lauren Oliver

Thank you, Lauren Oliver. Very intense, fast-paced, perfectly-stitched story.
This is the third and the final book of the Delirium Trilogy. After saving Julian, they (Raven, Julian, Lena, Alex and others) went back to the Wilds. Even though they know the Wilds more than the crazies/regulators do, now, it’s no longer safe. They are attacked and taken one-by-one. Cureds feel no hatred, no guilt, nothing.

I enjoyed it.

The open ending!!!! That would be better if she really finished everything - everything clear, everything answered.

What happened to Lena? Will she choose Julian? or Alex? Is Raven really dead? No! I hope there’s book 4 and she’ll come back. Harmed but alive. I hope Lena’s relationship with her mother will be strengthened and they’ll be closer. Where’s Hana? Is she in a safe place? Did Fred die in the bombing? Will the law and order be changed? What will happen to the deliria-free america? What will happen to the cureds? Will they not feel nor find love?

Yes, I get it- they’ll be free now. In the wilds. But after that? What? They all fought for that? Just freedom? Noooooo, they’re supposed to fight for the freedom to love. They have to do something to change the system.

Being really emotionally-affected by this book is a sign that this book is very good. I want to hug Lauren Oliver now, and then cry, and then explode and ask all my questions. (Full review)

Requiem by Lauren Oliver

I love you. Remember. They cannot take it.

Boys I like/love

thedeliriumtrilogy:

Delirium Dreamcast ►  Alexander Ludwig as Alex Sheathes(suggested by anonymous)

Delirium Dreamcast ► Emma Watson as Lena Haloway (suggested by anonymous)

I really want Emma Watson to be Lena of Delirium by Lauren Oliver. She could look very simple and innocent but at the same time beautiful and sweet, plus I think she’d do a really great job in the “escaping to The Wilds” scenes.

Pandemonium (Delirium, #2) by Lauren Oliver

Miss Oliver gave us the next life of Lena. Her second life. In the wilds, and later on, back in the Zombieland (the world inside the fence). I used check-marks to show things that I liked/loved.

Liked:

✔ The way the author presented everything, including choice of words in showing Lena’s feelings. Flowery. I just hate it when she’s repeating same words over and over.
✔ The Now-Then presentation. I admire the way she made both Lena’s past and present go well together - harmoniously. Like a duet.
✔ The surprises. Because of Lauren Oliver, I now like surprises. I feel the thrill. Like the blood of Lena is also running in my veins and I can feel everything see could. The twists and turns.
✔ Hopeful. I felt really hopeful about everything.
✔ The ending. I 40% expected “the return” but not in that type of situation. That’s the best part.

No, it’s not perfect. But that’s okay. It’s almost perfect. Besides, I like it being imperfect - like it’s incomplete without the other books.

I can’t wait to read the next book!
